Voice Therapy
Understanding Voice Changes
We offer voice therapy for adults who’ve noticed changes in their voice. Hoarseness, a tired or sore voice, or changes in how your voice sounds can happen for many reasons – from overusing your voice, medical conditions, neurological issues, or lifestyle factors.
A change in your voice can be frustrating, upsetting and sometimes even affect your work, social life or ability to express yourself. If your voice feels different, gets tired quickly or makes speaking clearly a challenge, voice therapy can help.
Our Approach
At The Voice Therapy Clinic, we provide caring, personalised and practical support. Every therapy plan starts with a thorough assessment so we can understand what is happening and create a programme that is right for you. Voice therapy gives you the tools to take care of your voice, work through any difficulties and speak with ease and confidence. Whether you are a professional singer, give presentations at work or just want to speak clearly and comfortably in everyday life, we’ll work with you to reach your goals.
ENT Examination Requirement
To start voice therapy, it’s usually important to have had a recent ENT laryngeal examination (within the last 6–12 months), though there can be exceptions. Please contact us to discuss your symptoms — we may recommend an ENT consultant opinion or discuss how voice therapy might help you.
